Hola! I am Smita Joshi. I am an Indian Photographer, currently based out of Tokyo, Japan. I make my magic potion with Filter Coffee and Photographs.

I started photographing Performing Arts in 2012. Formerly based out of Chennai, India, I have been shooting Carnatic Music, Hindustani Music, Band Performances, Theater, Bharatanatyam, Contemporary Dance and intimate gatherings of Art Exchanges. I also shoot Profiles and Portfolios for Performing Artists and Bands.

My tête-à-tête with Travel Stories go way back to shooting neighborhood festivals and cultural gatherings. The interest in capturing tradition took me to shooting Architecture under the guidance and mentorship of Architecture Photographer and Professor Mr. Ramanidharan Ramaswamy. It led me to explore cultural exchanges like Dussehra Festivals in various traditions, Historic Architectures and City Life.
